So often we are asked by our lovely customers, "what will it look like once installed"? We are really glad to be able to share this recently renovated Christchurch home with the stunning Grande Wide laminate from Woodland Lifestyle and Tussore NZ wool carpet from Bremworth.
Firstly, the Grande Wide laminate offers a 25 year residential warranty and has superb realism in it's appearance. From a real wood feel and look, each plank is unique so that there is no repetition over a 10 square metre floor area.
The width and length of the board in the rooms below and in general also creates a traditional yet sleek appearance. Traditionally wide and long boards were installed in timber. They were expensive due to the need for hardwood to be harvested from a limited number of suitable trees, and they were handscraped following milling.
The Grande Wide board replicates the dull nature of a handscraped timber appearance, and with it's V-groove edge and HydroSheild design gives it 100% water-resistance; this stunning product will look and feel like timber in your home - with a much friendlier price tag.
Bremworth made the move in 2021 to only manufacture wool carpet. This move has cemented them as an iconic New Zealand business creating products that turn heads. The textured yet modern carpets they create lead the market in terms of offering a natural product with all the added benefits of being warm.
Tussore is a tailored loop pile carpet which will stand up to the wear and tear of family life. The raw silk slubbing effect runs through the wool carpet at organic intervals and is part of the unique felted wool yarn that has been designed and manufactured here in New Zealand. The striated appearance is unique to this loop pile carpet and you can see a large piece on display at The Flooring Centre, Christchurch to get a real feel for the beautiful texture of the carpet.
