Engineered Timber Floors
Engineered Timber Flooring is often referred to as a "Floating Floor" system as it can easily be installed, in most instances, over the top of an underlay, without the need to fix it to the substrate. Engineered Timber Flooring offers the look of a solid timber floor and has a pre-finished hard wearing urethane surface. This usually means it can be installed very quickly and efficiently. Without the need for on-site sanding or polyurethane can be a big advantage as there is less disruption in an existing home.
There are many choices of engineered timber floors on the market, The Flooring Centre have an extensive selection from quality European manufacturers including Karelia from Finland, and Haro from Germany. These quality manufacturers have precision engineered timber floors with patented locking systems that ensure the joints remain firm and stable. They offer comprehensive guarantees covering construction and wear.
