(We only supply timber harvested from environmentally sustainable managed forests). We have our own skilled craftsmen to take care of everythng from the floor preparation, moisture barrier and installation process, right through to the sanding and polyurethane application.We specialise in non toxic low VOC waterborne polyurethanes that are both user friendly and easy on the environment. The Flooring Centre showroom has a dedicated area where you can view many popular species of timber showing different finishes including stains, urethanes and oils. Engineered Timber Floors
Engineered Timber Flooring is often referred to as a "Floating Floor" system as it can easily be installed, in most instances, over the top of an underlay, without the need to fix it to the substrate. Engineered Timber Flooring offers the look of a solid timber floor and has a pre-finished hard wearing urethane surface. This usually means it can be installed very quickly and efficiently. Without the need for on-site sanding or polyurethane can be a big advantage as there is less disruption in an existing home.
