Cheap carpet is something we get asked about all the time. We do however prefer to use the term super affordable. Because cheap can imply issues with quality. Here at The Flooring Centre we offer not only super affordable flooring but also quality flooring from quality brands at great prices.
Tops tips for the most affordable carpets?
A lot of the super affordable flooring options you will find in the Clearance Depot are end of lines or remnants. But, we also have a healthy range of stocked products, waiting in the warehouse that are ready to go. No delays for freight or waiting from stock to be produced - it's ready to go now.
End of lines
Still perfectly good, first grade carpet, without faults - but super cheap! We buy end of lines from our suppliers and pass the savings on to our Clearance Depot clients. These are often colours that are no longer going to be produced - for whatever reason. It's not uncommon to see discounts as big as 50% off the recommended retail - and we even have wool options.
Remnants
Remnants are great if you have a small to medium sized room where you need to replace the carpet. The rolls are on the wall and ready to go, plus they're super cheap. Sometimes even below cost!! The other thing that remnants can be good for is rugs. We usually have at least a few loop pile and cut pile carpets that are waiting for a bound edge to be called a rug - plus keep an eye out for cool custom commercial carpets that make great rugs! This is easy to accomplish and usually costs about $9.00 per lineal metre through a carpet binder. It can be a much cheaper way to create a rug, rather than buying ready made.
Stock Carpet
When we stock a carpet, we buy it in bulk and our suppliers give us extra special pricing. We pass this on to our clients. The stock carpets featured in the Clearance Depot are our best selling and best value entry level and mid range carpets. Want to know the most popular range and colour?
